What's the best Mega Man Zero game for GBA?

Between Mega Man Zero 1, 2 and 3, which is overall the best?

I want to get a Mega Man game for the GBA, but don't want to buy three similar games. I just want the one that has been overall rated the highest.
 
From what I read, Mega Man Zero has some issues that were resolved in Mega Man Zero 2. Mega Man Zero 3 is yet to be released (this october) but looks VERY promising. I ended up buying MMZ 2 last week since I ended up finding it for cheap, but thus far it's EXTREMELY difficult. I'll probably get MMZ 3 after beating this one (if I can?!).
 
yeah... if I had some money... I would pick up MMX3 .... :(

I am simply broke though. It is looking VERY nice!

Sorry, but I don't like the Zero games. They're not exactly terrible, it's just that i'm a big fan for the oldschool Megaman games, and in my opinion, they couldn't of picked a worse game to mess with and change.
 
old school as in NES?

My personal favorites were Mega Man III and Mega Man X. Mega Man Zero 2 is REALLY hard, but the graphics updating and the ability to use a sword and the chain rod add a lot to the game for me.
