Can Medical Forums be trusted?How do you know you're not talking to some wing nut that has no training at all?

I feel the same way. Makes me feel like I'm trusting my health to doctor in the simpsons.

I also feel that webmd and stuff like that is dangerous. You could totally misdiagnose (sp?) yourself.
 
Heres another question. Can you trust real life doctors? I mean, they might be there for show, nothing else.
 
Well the real life doctors, although they make mistakes, actually went to school for everything they're doing. You can't say that about people on a medical forum.

No, you really can't trust people on medical forums much. Go to a doctor that you know is a doctor.
 
I've looked at Web MD before and I would take every bit of advice with a grain of salt. Either way though, it's a crap shoot. I had a real doctor nearly kill me twice due to incompetents.
