Where Do You See The Internet's Capabilities 12 Years From Now?

Actually... I'm hoping not... but I wouldn't doubt someone will control the Internet in the future.

I can't wait for 1 Tera connections though!

This is interesting.
Would it not be a difficult,if impossible task to enforce restrictions of that nature?
Couldn't be compared to cops pulling you over for expired tags?

Im glad thats what it means and not something similar to the fairness doctrine like what broadcast media is about to go through.
 
Well, from what I understand the shift in technology is looking towards sattelites. Sattelites a big bucks and primarily owned by government, neutral or not it'll be goverened somehow. Doesn't japan already have one up or at least near completion.

and just to be clear we're not talking hughes net, we're talking like coffee shop except Large scale.
