Like I said, I've played on a PSP WITH MODS.  The wireless capabilities blow the DS away.  Of course, if there was a 2D castlevania (like Dawn of Sorrow) coming out for the PSP, heck, even if Final Fantasy VII and/or Symphony of the Night were ported to the PSP, I'd so get one.

But, I digress.  Since Dawn of Sorrow IS out on the DS, it might just be on my Christmas list.  Ya know, since I don't have jack for spare time 'til then.

hm.... how do the wireless capabilities kill the ds's?

It is the same except they can have infrastructure on the PSP.. and the DS infrastructure mode is on the way.

I own both anyway... I just have more fun with my DS (a lot). The Psp does lack titles... But it has some more decent ones coming by Christmas.

I mean, even though it is an average game, you cannot beat Trauma center :lol Surgery on your DS.

PSP's wireless capabilities (when set up right) can give full internet access. I don't think that the DS is capable of that.

I don't need to play a surgery game. Remember, I work in a hospital now. :P

yeah... but its fun :lol

yes, I know with the new updates you have a web browser (nothing even to setup anymore).

but honestly, do people REALLY use it for web browsing? In your house... if you have your handheld and a computer... are you going to skip the comp. and go with the PSP to browse?
It is cool to have the feature.... and I guess it is better to have it than not.

OMG, the screen on the new SP is SOOOOO vivid! Seriously, the screen is brighter and more detailed than the DS screens... I'm AMAZED at the new SP screens... I'm torn!

The Nintendo DS handheld is so much better than the GBA Sp. 8) :lol

Except that
A) it isn't backwards compatable with old favorite gameboy or gameboy color games
B) it doesn't have the new bright screen like the SP or mini
C) the touch screen is a cheesy gimick
D) after playing metroid prime pinball, I maintained the opinion that the split between the screens is annoying

Opinions are fine, if you can substantiate them beyond "that's better" or "that sucks". ::)

Also if you can make an opinion not based on one game. Unless you just decided to use that one game out of all the other ones you played in order to make an example. So far the touch screen, for me, hasnt been a cheesy gimmick. I like the fact that I dont always have to use buttons in order to have good gameplay. It's a nice change of pace. You are correct about the backwards compatibility and the brightness of the screen, but maybe you should try out more games to see if the DS is still something you might want. Just one game, especially a pinball game, can not represent all of the DS games that are available. Again, if you have tried other games, then forgot everything Ive said. ;)

Yes, that was one chosen example out of the games (plural) that I've tried on the DS. I'm not knocking the DS totally, as I said, I considered getting one for Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. However, I don't want to buy a system for only one application. Additionally, at the moment, I would not buy a DS since it's very possible that Nintendo will implement the "new brighter screens" of the GBA in the DS at a later date.
