Which way to go?

I am finally going to get an online game. I'm not sure what I want to get. Does anyone have any suggestions? What about the Final Fantasy game or the Star Wars game?
 
yeah it depends on whether your willing to pay a monthly fee

if you are, I suggest Battlefield 2 or World of Warcraft
if not, I suggest Diablo 2: LoD or Guild Wars

or as a last resort, you can try Runescape.com
 
It's sorta like an RPG with some strategy worked in with MMO elements, sorta like an MMO except you don't have to worry about all the crap that comes with you traditional MMO

one thing some people don't like is that, even though it takes a long time to get to lvl 20, you can only get to lvl 20 and from then on you have to rely on your stategy with your skills and attributes

definitly get Battlefield 2, and maybe Halo
 
Guild Wars it is. I'm on there now. Thanks for all the input. I appreciate it. Does anyone here play this? I could use some help. :D
 
Cool. I'm not sure if I'm ready for a guild yet, I'm only a level 4. How do you tell the difference between a NPC and a live person?
 
The color of the name. I think Blue are real people. I havent played in a while,
You dont have to be ready for the guild, we will help ya when ever we are online.
 
darn, I didn't see this post until it was too late. WoW is a really cool game also. Oh and to whoever said Battlefield 2 has a monthly fee, you're wrong
 
I'm not sure how amazing a PC you need to play GW, but it doesn't have a monthly fee and I am having a blast playing it. Thanks again for the recommendations.

How do you join the guild?
 
I say get counterstrike (Half/Life 2)... and play me on that :)

OR get Diablo 2! I need some people to start playing again :lol

Guild wars isn't a bad idea....

All are free... and you will be playing for a long time.
