Who would like to see Burnout 3 on the Gamecube?  Vote this one up!

I certainly would.

I have not heard a response back from EA OR Criterion yet... but I am sure hoping they don't ditch N on this one.
There is no reason for it.

AND if they make the game broadband capable..... guess what?  all you online freaks (I am on too in a sense) can play it on the Warp Pipe.

Vote this one up, please!

I dunno if there's much point in bringing it to the Cube unless it goes online (and of course there's a very slim chance of that happening. The online feature for the PS2 version is pretty important, without it, it more or less seems like Burnout 2.

its not just EA its Criterion.

They should definitely think about bringing this out for some fans.
There is no reason they shouldn't..... at least I cannot think of any.

I desperately want to play this game. I think it's a shame it's not being ported over to the GC, even with no online capability, it would be fun to play the single-player and multiplayer games on it.

It would be nice for Gamecube owners who don't own other systems.

Honestly for me it would boil down to how they utilized the GC controller. Using the Z button or R button for acceleration would get tiring after a while (I know that in Wind Waker I got tired of holding the Z down for Z-targeting). Perhaps if accelerate was A, brakes assigned to B, boost to R, X, or Y, and the slowdown thingie assigned to whatever boost wasn't assigned to, it would be doable.

I just prefer the XBOX's Controller S' triggers for racing games. But if they could do a good set-up on the Wavebird I would probably get it for GC. I don't really plan to go online with Burnout 3 anyway, as the nononline part of the game seems pretty robust so far.

um... when do you ever slow down in burnout? :lol

I don't think I ever use the breaks.....

I love this button config:
X = horn
b = breaks
a = accelerate (why does that word look weird to me tonight?!)
R = Boost (yes, I love it there)

and it would be awesome via the BBA and/or the warp pipe.

me too stealth ... it is a shame... but you never know... it might happen. Xbox and GC got Burnout 2 1 year late.

I just noticed that you spelled brakes wrong (breaks) and then I was paying attention to your post so I spelled it wrong too. :lol

Yes, this game does deserve to be on the Gamecube. :)

Well, EA or Critireon (or both) are favoring PS2 as far as Burnout 3 goes. The PS2 has vastly superior graphics as opposed to the Xbox version, which should at least be able to equal the PS2's power. I saw that on Pulse.

Burnout 2 on the Ps2 outclassed the Xbox as well.... its pretty funny.

There is no reason it cannot be on the Gamecube! But some companies have their heads in the wrong places.... and its just wrong.

They wonder why B2 didn't do as good as the Ps2 (on the Xbox and Gamecube that is).... its because they brought it out NEARLY 1 year after!!!
Its like "come on... and you expect it to sell well."

some companies just don't get it. I mean..... if we can see this.. why can't they?

mai..... I think my brain is gone for vacation :lol ... I am going to be early tonight.

I'd be surprised...

It might be this time because they designed it for the Xbox then ported.. but honestly....

honestly though...... the Gamecube could do what the Xbox can do.
No one believes me... but I am near 100% sure of this.
