"Why Was "Ghostbusters" Pushed Back?

Does anyone know why the "Ghostbusters" game was pushed back?I'm looking forward to playing it.

Sierra dropped it from being published. So they needed a new publisher. Atari (aka Infogames) finally picked it up after hanging in limbo.

Now the company has decided to wait until Summer of 09' because it's the perfect timing to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the movie as well.
