Wii Elbow!

I'm sorry..I realize that my laughing in my last post was insensitive to those who have the serious condition known as Wii elbow.

Perrin Kaplan just owned everyone.

Nintendo vice president of marketing Perrin Kaplan put it plainly. "[The Wii] was not meant to be a Jenny Craig supplement," she told the WSJ. "If people are finding themselves sore, they may need to exercise more."

OMG. That is the best quote ever. ROTFL

lol..

I got some soreness after playing for 8 hours with buddies. Wii Party for sure. Best thing since Nintendo 64.

I gotta quick question. Since I can't find extra controllers anywhere, can you play games like Wii bowling with only one wii-mote, but multiple people?

You'd have to take turns playing it single-player. If you select two players the Wii will automatically assume that you also have two Wii Remotes and won't let both players use the same Wii Remote.

There should be more Wii Remotes available this week though. I know GameStop's supposed to receive another shipment by Friday.

Try Wal Mart. And ask them where they are, rather than just looking. They have them in odd places in my Wal Mart, but they have them in stock.

In response to your other question, I'm not sure. Everyone has their own Wii mote around here.

I've also heard that stores like Sears are a good place to look. People don't think of Sears as being a place that carries video game stuff. Comp USA is another good one...people just assume that they only carry computer stuff. XD!

Giving secrets, sharing wealth..

Since when does one share wealth!? ;-)

Heh. Figuratively speaking, of course.

On topic, I did notice that my shoulders were sore after playing Wii Sports Baseball for the first time. But after a while I got used to it.

So much fun!!! I hope more of my family makes it over for Christmas. I want to have everyone make a Mii and play some Wii Sports.

Ive been testing on the Wii since early September and not once have I become sore or experience any pain. To be honest I love the Wiimote because Im able to rest my arms and hands in natural positions than normal controllers.

Thanks for the advice Sartori and Mai. I go Wii shopping early Sunday morning. I'm waking up at 7 a.m. and waiting outside Toys-R-Us cause they seem to have it in stock every Sunday lately. I'll be lookin for another Wii-mote as well.

yeah... I do exercise... and there are some motions (like fighting off the enemy close quarters... when you are fighting for the rifle) that do wear your arms out.

I haven't got "wii elbow" though... I could see this as a concern for some people. :lol tennis elbow translating from a video game... that would be a little ironic, no? :)

Bv :hat

Do you suppose that some people will be trying to tie a tennis racket or something to their controller and be trying to learn how to play tennis through the Wii?

Being a very good tennis player myself...playing tennis on the Wii is NOT a good way to learn. :)
