Wii launch titles

I think I've found my first two games...

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors
Metal Slug Anthology

Oh yeah. :D

Are Wii games going to max out at $49.99 or what?

I saw the Red Steel demo on the press conference and I must say I was very impressed with it.

Also that Wii Sports package with the Baseball/Tennis/Golf, is that going to be included in the system or is it a special launch title?

Developer: SNK Playmore
Players: 2

Genre: Action Compilation

Description: Another mysterious announcement, Metal Slug Anthology has been confirmed as a launch title for Wii as well. Little information has been released about this classic compilation, but we do know it will offer the five main Metal Slug titles (Metal Slug - Metal Slug 5) in one package. SNK tells us that the arcade classics have been revamped to use the Wii-mote. It's possible that you'll be able to gesture a flick of the controller to toss a grenade. In all honesty, it doesn't really matter how much new generation control Metal Slug decides to incorporate, as we're simply overjoyed that such an awesome compilation of arcade goodness will be hitting Wii at launch. Classic.
FINALLY... a metal slug game!!!!  NICE!  Metal Slug 1-5 on the Wii!

:o :drool :drool

There are actually some great launch titles in there!

GameStop is already taking pre-orders for Red Steel, Medal of Honor Airborne, the new Need for Speed game, and surprisingly, Test Drive Unlimited. I'm a little surprised to see Test Drive on the a Nintendo console.
really? test drive? That is odd... I am surprised too.

Sorry, the Test Drive info was incorrect. My coworker is a dork and was trying to trick me into reserving stuff. But I did reserve the Metal Slug Anthology. And I am going to reserve the Wii version of Twilight Princess as soon as we start. I also plan to reserve the new Metroid game.

Trauma Center gave me conniptions, I'm still stuck on the last regular level (I'm not even going to touch those secret levels) and I doubt I'll ever finish it.... That said I'll be certain to get the Wii version as well :)
