Wii MotionPlus

Wondering if it is worth getting? If it truly achieves the 1:1 Motion Controls as advertised?

Yeah depends on what games you like on how long you may want to wait. Think the first non sport title to take advantage of it will be Red Steel 2. Game looks pretty sweet if you like action games. I imagine whenever Nintendo announces the next Zelda it will be MotionPlus as well as they will want another major first party game to help convince people to buy the accessory.
