Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

....please Miyamoto...you're a genius....but please make real games now. Stop with this other stuff.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

I used to really love composing music and such, so if it's anything like that, sorry to say I'm probably gonna love it. :lol

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

Making music in Mario Paint was one of the best things about that game. I will definitely keep an eye on this.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

the way you conduct music is wind waker like so i really wanna do that with the wii remote :D. miyamoto keep working on this and let Eiji Anouma do the new zelda (if there's one in development)

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

I cant wait to play this especially if it bolsters a music library of the best 350 songs of Nintendo games, arrangments, rearrangements, remixes, and vocals of the songs as well. This could very well be the best game that Nintendo could every finally make for the Wii. I can not wait any longer! This is what made me buy my Wii

This.

Seriously, Audiosurf is about as awesome as you'll get with rhythm / music games.

well this is more like a composig than rythm i think... but yeah i agree audiosurf is awesome, but that doesn't mean this won't be good.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

It's actually 'been around' since it was announced with the Wii. It was just put on the backburner while he worked on other games(he prefers to work on one game at a time so he can devote his focus to it), like Super Mario Galaxy.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

I'm not really sure how to feel about this one, to be honest. I would like Miaymoto to focus more on traditional games, but at the same time, I know nothing about this game. It could be the next Guitar Hero, or it could be the next Boogie (*shudders*). I guess I'm going to have to see how the game actually plays before I decide here.

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

To focus on Traditional games is to go against Nintendo's new mission and aim of expanding the game market, Wii Music is more cogent to this plan than other platforming adventure titles.

I don't deny that, but I don't have to be happy with Nintendo's goals. I still want the titles that I have played for years, not shallow games that have been dumbed down for the purposes of appealing to the masses. Wii Music won't necessarily be that kind of game, but it could. (also, what does cogent mean? You kind of lost me there XD)

Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music

Wii Music actually sounds cool, 'cause there's gonna be around 40 instruments and conducting is a really fun idea.

yeah at least something original, besides last rythm game nintendo made was elite beat agents, and that was awesome, so a rythm game might not be a bad idea from miyamoto after all
