I know we discussed this somewhere here... but I cannot find it. I would like for the answer to be on this site...

Can we put WiiWare games on the SD Cards and play them from there?

you can however erase the game when you are done with it and download it again for free

That is awesome... and a relief.

Thanks for sharing!

Why did Nintendo put SD cards in there... hopefully the Wii gets a hard drive. I am willing to be they do.

well you can avoid the process of re-downloading heavy games by just copying them to the SD card

I do have a backup of everything on my SD card ...

If you copy a game back, once it finishes copying... it is good to play?

It should be.

The point of the SD Card is only for freeing up space on the Wii system memory. Nothing else.

The SD card is so that people who want extra memory can get it, and so those who don't want it don't have to pay extra. Also, to prevent piracy, you cannot play games off an SD card, you have to copy over to the Wii, which does take upwards of a minute depending how large the game is. You can copy games to any Wii that has the Shop Channel memory of previously downloading said game, so if your friend and you both have downloaded Super Castlevania IV, you can copy that game from the SD card to either Wii.
