Someone posed the question to me and I sat down and thought to myself yeah it is new and exciting to wave the controller around and stuff happens on screen right now but what about a few years from now will it still be fun or is it just gonna get boring to always have to move around and not being able to just sit and use a regular controller like we are all use to.  Or will you buy the other controller that looks like an SNES controller and use that insted of the Nunchuck and remote?

It won't be boring. It's very intuitive and easy to use. The technology will only be perfected. I mean...Duck Hunt isn't boring, right?

the only thing I am not happy with is that you cannot be 10 feet away from the TV at times. The curser on the screen tends to not be as consistent and fluid... it lags a bit.

But I hear there is a great sensor coming out. It's too bad the original one didn't have more range.

The classic controller will not be supported by some, if any, newer Wii games. So that is actually out of the question.

Well, not that I've actually played a Wii yet, but I don't think it would be much of an inconvienence to use the controller. I mean, you get online and have to type and move the mouse, right? I would think that's close to about as much movement you need for the controlller. As far as it actually getting boring? Well, they have done intuitive things with the mouse (not that its exactly a perfect comparison) so I think they'll start to get creative with this as well.

It's actually a lot more interesting to play games with it than a standard controller where you sit ther and push buttons.

Nah. It's intuitive and easy - not to mention your hands feel a lot more "free" holding them in that position.

I think a more interesting question would be "Will easily excited people get frustrated with this technology?"

I mean, I think we all know that person who is playing a game and starts to get excited and starts waving the controller all over the place thinking that it will somehow affect whats goin on.

I know that I just meant that will you buy the system and then get bored of the wii and just use the classic controll for the fact of the old school games and forget the wii games.

Oh ok.

It depends on how the controller gets utilized. If it starts to be really gimmicky then yes people will get tired of it.

I don't think it will get old. I just wish there was maybe just a few more buttons on the controller, so they don't have to make those unnecessary movements in games and go overboard. But when you have your remote and nunchuck in your hand it just...feels so right. Know what I mean?
