I think thats what it was called...it was a flight combat sim for the snes with a nice storyline some pretty dang good graphics and fun ships. (The rapier was so pimp) So I figure its worth mentioning here as one of the forerunners to todays flighty games.

its also one of my classical favs.
 
actually... Aero Fighters 1 was on the Super Nintendo... it is REALLY hard to find now ... unfortunately ...

I never did play Wing Commander that much..... how was the game? what was it like?
