Well the game comes out in the US Feb 7th. Im really looking forward to buying it. I decided Im going to get it for the PS2 rather than the Xbox.
There are many new features that are included in this new version of the game. Online mode is finally included in the game. Just that feature alone is getting me excited.
Also Konami has some new licenses so they can include more player names rather than using the fake names to get around the copyrights.

Anyone interested in this game?
 
Well right now my internet at home is messed up, so I havent tried out the Online Mode yet. As for gameplay, its just like every new Winning Eleven game I have ever played. It always feels different playing, it will probably take me a day or two to really get in to the game. The good thing is that I copied over all the player names from Winning Eleven 8 save, so all my teams are up to date. Many people complain that Konami doesnt have the licenses, but with a simple download it is perfect.

So far I have played 3 full length games. I have won 2-1 and 1-0 then lost 0-1. Im really liking it so far. I cant wait until I get better at it.... lol
 
I just played Online Mode and all I have to say is SICK!!!!!
OMG it was like playing someone in the room with me. There was absolutely no lag once so ever. After playing Fifa 05 for a year I hated that game for the amount of lag. This is amazing. I cant even describe how much fun I had the past hour or so playing online.

I would have bought this game in a heartbeat just for online mode if I knew it would be this smooth. I really think IGN needs to replay the game and re-rate it. I really dont think they gave it the time it deserves. I would rate this game a 9.2-9.5 range. Definitely not a 8.8.
 
Well IGN rated WE9 an 8.8. I feel this is a very low score, and that IGN didnt play the game long enough to rate it properly.

Gamespot came out with their review of the game today and gave it a 9.1. I believe this is still a little low but I definitely think Gamespot did a better job by giving the game more time.
 
hmm today was the first day I experienced and lag online. Im hoping I was just playing against an opponent with a poor connection. I will let you know how it goes.
 
Ares I finally figured out what I need, a wireless ethernet bridge. Turns out that my connection isn't cable modem, it's T1 :woot

haha...well when you DO get it all straightened out...what games do you have with online capability? :)
 
Hey everyone, I downloaded the new option file off the internet today with my new Max Drive. Having all the names, jerseys, stadiums and shoes perfect really makes the game so much better. Who cares if the game doesnt have all the licenses. It has superior gameplay to Fifa and with a $20 max drive all the license problems are cleared up at the click of a mouse.

Who cares if the game doesnt have all the licenses? Well obviously you do since you went through the trouble of buying a Max Drive. :D

That does suck though that it doesnt have all the licenses. I still want to play this game though.
 
Well its by far the best soccer game ever made in my opinion, so for a simple $20 I just made the game almost perfect. It makes a huge difference to me.
