wireless sensor bar for Wii by Nyko?

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Has anyone see this or even tried this product yet?

I saw one today for $19.99. Sadly, it requires 4 AA batteries to work and claims it works up to 25 feet.
 
Seems to me like another break point. A sensor to make the wiimote wireless is now wireless in it's self. Tried it? No. But I would have my doubts if I had a Wii.
