I just started watching Germany and Barcelona... 3 goals in like 15 minutes. It's awesome, I wish soccer was like this more often.

I'm hoping for Poland, but I doubt they'll get very far.
 
haha dont worry about it. Barcelona is a club team.


Anyways, Mexico had a pretty good second half today and won 3-1 against Iran. Im pumped to see how the US does tomorrow vs Czech. I hope Italy destroys Ghana.
 
That's an understatement. They've put themselves in a tough spot. They must now win their next two games or else go home. No ties, no losses. The good news is they still play Ghana, who they should beat, the bad news is their next game is against Italy. Very tough task.
 
I saw that one, good game.

England play perhaps the weakest team on Thursday...Trinidad and Tobago, so things are looking good for us.
 
yeah the australia game was the best today. Im so glad Japan didnt win, it was a cheap goal imo.
 
The referee later held a conference that giving Japan that goal was a mistake, which pleased me greatly. It also pleased most Australians.
 
I watched the US Italy game today, and was it ever awesome. Although the skill level was not at it's highest, the intensity of the game was incredible. Ghana's win over the Czechs it made this game of even greater importance, because Italy was trying to clinch a pass to the next round and US was trying to tie the rest of the teams for points. That group is easily the most interesting as everything is still up in the air.

I can't wait to see the Czechs and Italians play, as they are both very talented teams desperate to make it to the next round. It will also be awesome to see if Ghana can keep some momentum rolling from their last win and make it to the next round. Man I love the World Cup!
 
Yeah, the US/Italy game has been the game of the tournament so far. That ref loved showing the red card!

Who's everyones pick to win the whole thing? My money's on Argentina, much as I hate to say it.
 
England will win it, they always play well against better teams. Bring on Germany and Brazil!! USA are my second team but i dont think they have the great players to go all the way. Great game against Italy aswell i feel they should have won that game. COME ON ENGALND!!!!!!!!!!!
 
yeah the Italy-US game was messed up. haha
US - Ghana will be a good game. Ghana has two forwards missing the game because of yellow cards... So hopefully US will pull a win out and move on. Thse cards were unbelievable. haha
