Worst boxart for videogames

I'll start, I won't pick something obvious like the Megaman NES games though :lol

Too bad, I'm sure this game didn't do well and the boxart certainly didn't help. Would have never bought it if I didn't know it was a sequel Disaster Report
 
Hmm, I thought the GTA box covers were pretty stylish personally.

It's been said before and I agree, the US version of ICO had pretty lame box art.

The Japanese box art was so much better and quite fitting of the game's artistic style.

lol i just posted the ICO one in the best boxart but we got the same as japan so its all good, i do agree your version is awful
 
Yea that's right, Europe got the awesome ICO box art, too. Dunno why they had to change it for the US version.
 
Okay most people always say Mega Man 1. Yet has anyone really taken a "2nd" look at Mega Man 2's box art? Seriously..it's so freakin' funny.

You gotta wonder what ever happened to that guy on the cover of Karnaaj...He looks to be on some very heavy drugs in that picture :lol

Is it just me or does Mega Man's foot look a bit weird? :lol
 
@mega: Why, they don't call him Mega Man for nothing! :lol


While not necessarily a bad cover, it looks as though his mouth is being stretched to the left and just looks ridiculous :lol

Sadly, they "TM" that for some weird reason....but as I go back and edit it.. I notice they are not worried about the incoming TYPHOON :D
 
Maybe someone else trademarked 'Intertainment' before them :p

I think I'd be more worried if that typhoon surfing gorilla was coming right at me. But that's just me :lol
