On more than one occasion I have bought a game that was only the disc. The casing doesnt matter *too* much to me,

Well, if the cover art is fine then what's the big deal? Simply replace the case with another.

I try to buy games with cases in good condition, but if its the only copy or something, then I'll deal with it.

Depends on the price. If it's an absolute bargain, I would. If its only a few bucks off, or the same price, no.

I've said this many times before, but as a collector, it all matters. PS2 cases can be easily replaced since they're the normal style DVD cases. GameCube and Xbox/360 cases are a little more difficult to replace. Especially if the game consists of more than one disc.
