Would you like if the next Nintendo system was a DVD player +?

I am just curious... do you like your Nintendo system as just a gaming system, or do you actually want it to be more like all the other systems have become?

the DVD player would be a great feature, but as long as you wouldnt have to pay extra for it (like the xbox dvd playback kit)
 
no, just a game player. For some reason, when you start putting all the other gagets in there the products tend to become unreliable. Nintendo made a smart move going with small disks and a top loading system.
 
I would rather have the option of getting it without a DVD player. The more functions a thing has, the worse it is at each one. I mean, look at the N-Gage. It tries to be a phone, a handheld gaming system, and an mp3 player all at once, and it sucks at two of them (I've heard it's actually decent for mp3 playing).
 
I've always enjoyed having actual DVD players to play my DVD's on, they just seem much better. If you wanted to, you should be able to have the option to buy an add on that attaches to the GC and lets you play DVD's. But like i've always said, consoles should just be consoles.
 
I must say that I am glad the gamecube is system only...

I don't want anything else to be attached with it.... except the gameboy player :D

Anything non-gaming or for multiplayer purposes should go!
