XBL hook-up. Needs the info...

Okay. So now that I have a working Xbox, What do I need to do in order to hook it up online?

I noticed that my Xbox has an ethernet hookup, and oddly enough, so does my DSL. Can these two be hooked up together???

Also, who do I have to pay for service??

I'd like to start playing games online so I can be called a "noob" by snobby little kids. :D
 
your going to need three things, an ethernet cable capable of linking your xbox to a router that links to your dsl or directly to your dsl, a credit card, and an xbox live starter kit

once you have your xbox linked to your dsl and have opened your xbox live starter kit, in the xbox live menu in the xbox dashboard, insert your creditcard information and the code for the free trial that comes with the starter kit (depending on which kit you buy will determine how long your free subscription is) then once that is all done pick your gamertag and password and your all set
