Xbox 360- In need of a good platformer

I have an Xbox 360. I love platform games. At the moment, these two things aren't fitting together too nicely. Sure, I love my 360, but I just feel it's in need of some platform games and maybe some stuff with "kiddy" content. I had high hopes for Sonic but I played it at my friends the other day and -for me at least- it's a big, irritating let-down. Does anyone here agree with me?

*Sigh* maybe I'll just have to get a Wii. Lighten up Microsoft.

It's not a platformer per se, but pick up Viva Pinata or try it out at least.

My boss is this ultra guy who plays stuff like GoW and Halo, and he said Viva Pinata was pretty cool.

I love that phrase "ultra guy" ;D

There are some platformer type games on live arcade. I suggest you check out the live arcade stuff. Robo Blitz is the best off the top of my head right now.

Everyone's raving about Viva Pinata. ::Shrug::
 
I hear Viva Pinata (which I thought, moronically, was pronounced "Pin-eat-a" before I came to my senses) is a bit like Animal Crossing. I've never really played many games other than that, they may be a little too cutesy.
