yay! i just got a call from East of Chicago Pizza (i dunno if any of you have heard of it or not)...........i get to go to a job interview tomorrow! :lol about time! i need this job bad! im excited! lol.......im sure youre all tired of hearing me complain :p
 
huntington :) roanoke is closer..........but im in huntington more than roanoke, its quicker to get from school to there, and same with robotics

something you need to be aware of.... well... maybe not... but I am going to tell you anyway :)

i applied for a job at the supermarket and they gave me no reply and that was like 6 months ago so i re-applied yesterday :D
 
you gotta be 18 to deliver, so i know i wont be doing that........


i dont really care whether im a waiter or a cook or whatever.........i just need some money :p
 
welp........it went pretty well i would say...the girl that interviewed me was doing only her second interview, so she didnt really have a clue :p ill probably have to go in for another when the general manager can do it himself..... :)
 
The pay sucks though...

It is true that under US law jobs that earn tips are sometimes subject to lower minimum wages, but I think that is stupid. That pay technically isn't coming from your employer. Bah, its still money.
 
They're not crazy, well not all the time, but they just ALWAYS want to watch Home Alone. I think I've memorized most of the words in all three of the movies :p

It depends where you work. If you make like $200 a night with tips then I can see why the employer would pay them less. What sucks also is that tips get taxed.
