Yoshi Touch and Go

Alrighty, after a couple doyas of waiting I finally picked this up yesterda, mainly because it's the only other game out there besides Wario Ware that makes the touch screen worth it. I've spent a lot of time with it so far and I'm still not sure where I stand with it. While I'm playing the game I'm having heaping amounts of fun, it's only after I'm done do I start to question what the game is.

The game is broke down into two parts. The first part has Baby Mario falling down a sky (On the top screen). Your job is to form lines of clouds that guide BM any where you need him to go. You can also form bubbles around baddies by drawing a circle of clouds around them. You can't really stop him from falling, only help him make it to the ground where the second part of the game begins.
Seeing BM, Toshi catches him in mid fall and begins to carry him on the bottom screen. You don't really control Yoshi here either, he just keeps moving foward. Tapping the styles anywhere will make Yoshi throw an egg, dragging it will form clouds that Yoshi will walk on, and Tapping Yoshi itself will make him jump.

The whole point of this game is no to beat the level. It's to get the highest score. There is know levels to be heared of in this game, and I think thats what gets to me the most. You have only one level in the Score attack mode. One. Granted, the game is ALL about getting the best score and trying to beat a friends but coudn't it have had diffrent stages to try and beat OTHER high scores? Yea, it does have a couple other modes, all of them diffrent in there own way, but it's not enough.

But... this game is still really good. I find myself wanting to play it over and over again, and it really never gets easy. I find myself taking more risk and ramming into a bunch of baddies when I was trying to get to a group of coins. This is a little scary in that for as short as it is, its pretty damn good. So why didn't they make stages, real boss battles, minigames etc..

Come on Nintendo...

Kirby's Canvas or whatever it's gonna be called is going to be a touch screen game like Yoshi's but with levels and stuff. You just gotta wait a month. As far as it being the only game worth it for touch capabilities. You gotta get Pac Pix. It's so innovative, I love it.

I tried this game out at Walmart, it was ok. I only played for a few minutes, but It didnt really interest me that much. I probably should give it a better try, a lot of people said this game is really short. The screens look pretty cool.
