Fourth worst Zelda. Boring on your own, expensive with friends, missions don't suit Zelda, it could have looked a lot nicer, it's much too short and simplistic.

I liked what I played of it. But I was lucky enough to live with three other people who all had GBAs, so getting a four-player game going wasn't that hard, and it's best played with four people.

We never did finish it, though.

i loved four swords... put co-op in a game and i'll love it for sure :lol. i had friends to play with but i admit that playing on my own was kinda boring

expensive with friends

I'll never understand this complaint. The people at Nintendo kind of assumed that you'd have friends that also had GBA's, seeing as, you know, it outsold the PS2 as well?

And if they don't, it's expensive.

So then, you shouldn't get the game.

It's the same thing as buying Melee, and moaning about how you need 4 controllers to play with your friends. It's assumed that your friends have GBA's.

The only good complaint about both this and Crystal Chronicles is the GBA -> GC cord. That I can understand, because it was mainly a gimmick for most games.

That's kinda my point. Controllers are a little bit cheaper and more widespread than a system.

The problem is that you're looking at the game in reverse.

You buy it because you have the controllers, not buy the controllers to play the game. It's assumed you already have the controllers. Nintendo never intended for people to look at this game and go "Oh, I need my friends to buy GBA's to play this". It was assumed that the buyer would be smart enough to realize that his friends would have GBA's before he bought the game.
