Personally, I like Four Swords Adventures.
Four Swords on the GBA was a lot different from the Gamecube Four Swords.
On the GBA version, you just got missions that you could do in any order.
On the GC version, there was a specific order and there was also an actual story line.
Basically, Four Swords Adventures (GC) is a full-fledged game while Four Swords GBA is more of a mini-game. And while you HAVE to have multiple people to play GBA Four Swords, you can play Four Swords Adventures on the GC by yourself, and it's pretty fun, actually.

I think with the DS's wireless linking up abilities, it would be pretty fun to play Four Swords with other people. I enjoy playing Mr. Driller wirelessly with other people, and that's just a puzzle game.
And if you want to play a really awesome Zelda game that's not Four Swords, try out
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap for GBA. It just came out in January.
