    Are Blank DVD Discs The Same As VHS Blank Tapes In This Respect?

    Hi People! I was curious. I know that with "VCR'S" that when you were taping something,the slower the recording speed,the better the picture.The drawback being that it takes more room on the tape. Is this the same thing with blank "DVD" discs? God Bless, Kaz
