So I've been teaching myself Japanese for about 6 months now and while I am making steady progress I would like to see if you guys had any tips for learning another language. Here's what I currently do:
Make word lists
Make flash cards
Watch anime with subs then watch the same episode again raw...

Do you find video games that use graphic violence and gore along with coarse language and mature themes more appealing than regular titles?

I'm curious.I know on TV they can censor coarse language..well some stations that show "The Sopranos" don't.God,if they bleeped out the foul language in that show you'd never hear a full sentence for the entire hour!Anyway,some material is so graphic that they don't...
