Got my boy a Wii. I'd like to make my computer a wifi hot spot for the Wii. Or maybe I don't know what I am talking about and just need to run a cable to my modem.
Can anyone help?
Ok, peoples, I have more problems. I recently moved to a new house in a new town. I got internet and a new router. We hooked the ps3 directly up to router, and it says it succeeds in getting IPadress and detecting internet connection but it will not let us sign into the playstation network. It...
I can't figure it out for the life of me. I've tried watching videos, reading guides, tried Sony's website... I can not figure it out. It's NAT Type 3 right now, and I need to change it to 1 or 2, but I don't know how. Do any of you?
I got a PSP and for some reason i cannot get the wifi to work. All the obvious things ive tried.
What its saying is it tries to connect for like 30 seconds and then it say connection timed out. Yet my internet works perfectly. Any ideas?
this isnt so much a problem as a question. Why does my xbox download things a lot faster than my ps3? they are bothed hooked up to a router on the same line and the 360 blows it away. i was thinking it would be the other way around..
Whenever I turn on my PS3 or quit out of a game on it everything that is on the wireless network is kicked off then after a few minutes or so everything signs back on.
Anyone know what's up?

So, I'm not a huge internet person. I until today, was unaware of wtf all this IP, NAT, MTU mumbo jumbo meant.
I have been playing COD4 for a while and have had no problems, hell, before that I played Gears for about a year and a half. Sniper king =D. Anyways, I had minor lag issues with my...
My router(Linksys, WRT54G) randomly disconnects my internet...even though it's wired. The thing is, when I try to reconnect, I enter the password, and it fails to connect anyways. I'm not exactly tech savvy, so I'm lost at this point.
My Wii, 360, and PS3 share 1 cord, which is coming from a router box from the main PC.
What I was planning on doing, is getting another router box, attach the 1 cord to it, and that way the 3 systems can be online at all times without having to switch off.
However, some have told me that the...
