sarcastic

Apparently putting a + sign before and after a sentence means you're being sarcastic. So if you wanted to be sarcastic and say: + everyone knows that + I guess that indicates you're being sarcastic. Does anyone use this or has anyone ever heard of it before? I always thought a sarcastic font...
