reviews are not what matter... its how fun the game is :)

I like Defender on the Gamecube, even though it only got mediocre reviews.

well... to many... they don't want to pay the prices of the AES.

I hate to say it, but the majority only play "mainstream"..... or systems that are more affordable.

Due to the fact that I mostly buy MVS carts and Neo CDs, my AES collection is small:

Metal Slug 3 (US)
King of Fighters 95 (Japanese)
King of Fighters 2001 (Japanese)
Samurai Spirits II (Japanese)
Nam 1975 (Japanese)
SVC Chaos (Japanese)
Ghost Pilots (US)

Just traded a few of my spare Slug Aes carts for....Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 (US and awesome)...and Big Tournament Golf (JP of course and utterly brilliant:)).

I am one big smile right now :) :lol ;D :D :-* ;) :lol :lol :lol

My AES collection is small... my games are divided in this way:

released 1990-1994: AES ('cause I just had AES at the time!)
released 1994-1998: CD ('cause they're cheaper!)
released 1998-2004: MVS ('cause newer games either were not released on CD or had unbearable load times!)

My AES carts are:

Nam 1974 (JAP version)
Fatal Fury (US version)
Fatal Fury Special (US version)
Samurai Shodown (US version)
Soccer Brawl (EUR version)
Super Baseball 2020 (EUR version)
Windjammers (US version)
8-Man (EUR version)
Art of Fighting 2 (US version)

Recenty I made an ecception: I bought an AES JAP version of SVC Chaos! I just had to have on my childhood dream console (Neo Geo AES) my childhood dream game (Fatal Fury VS Street Fighter! I deamt about that when I was a kid!!!!)

Thanks Doc, your is surely more impressive than mine, I left the AES world about 10 years ago (as you can see from my very outdated titles)... ;)

SVC Chaos was an ecception I had to make: I could have bought the MVS for around $120, but I ended up buying the AES for $260.... it is mint, but hell, I could have bought an Xbox with SVC Chaos itself and a couple other games for that price... :lol :lol :lol This is the first AES I bought since 1994 and I swear to all the Gods it will be the last one! ;)

EDIT: whooooops, I wrote prices in Euros... ;)
