My first memory of seeing a real Neo Geo AES was in 2001. The manager I worked with at the GameStop for the time being, was a collector. He showed me that beast and it was like the "Christmas that never was". I think it was the size of it that amazed me the most, it was big, it was ugly, and man it could rock. I wanted one so badly, but when I finally got one, I was pretty much flat broke that week :lol
:lol oh man... was I BRROOOKKEEEE back in 1993 when I got my AES gold system.
I seriously did not get another game for the Neo Geo AES until a year later... I found NAM-1975 used for $40 and I bought that. I remember seeing Last Blade on a shelf at a local game company and wanting it. BUT... the price tag was too much.
I DID HOWEVER find Metal Slug Neo Geo CD in that same store for only... ... .. .. $50 brand new!!! :woot Pulstar too! :lol
Of course, they were just released when I bought them.
