HALO was originally planned to be a Mac exclusive 10 years ago, close to this very day! It was said to be ready by 2003!

Everything you know and love in the Halo series is not what you think in this very early beta shown in 1999. 2 years before Halo even landed on Xbox. You'll noticed many familiar looking characters and notable background music.
 
That's a funny comment. True though. Is the video of the RTS or 3rd person beta? The video won't work for me.
 
Nifty.

One thing though... I'm quite sure that a Sangheili wouldn't throw his arms up in surrender if a gun was pointed to his face.
 
I remember this. there was a special about the history of halo on G4 a few years back
i think it was still G4tech tv when that happened.
