19 days and XBL is still not up to snuff

From Kotaku:
Xbox Live Outage Watch 2008: Day 19 And the Xbox Live problems don't stop til the beat drops. After running Okayish for the last day or two, Xbox Live has once again frozen to a halt, with users complaining of everything from disappearing achievements to...well, everything else. Xbox.com is also currently displaying the now-familiar "Xbox Live Marketplace users may experience intermittent issues..." message. The lack of communication from MS over why this is happening, and when we can expect it fixed, is no longer annoying. It's fast becoming inexcusable.

With it going on the way that it is Microsoft might wanna think about not just giving free Arcade games but, another month of XBL free to all subscribers.

Yeah this is too long. At first I wasn't complaining. It's technology. It screws up from time to time, but I expected MS to actually repair this by now. They better not start treating XBL like Windows :o

I haven't been on too much lately, but when I have been it hasn't really been a problem. What is it doing for you guys? Just being slow or what?

Wait what? So then all the lag and frustration when we tried to play CoD4 was just my imagination? :p :P

That wasn't normal? :p Anyway, I meant that the couple times I've played after that seemed to be fine. :)

I got kicked off last night while playing Rock Band, but I was able to get right back on. That's the only problem I've had with it recently.

The only problems I ever have is because my router "burps." I know it's not XBL cause my computer stops for like 30 seconds...

Last time I was on I lost 9 ranks in Halo without even playing, lost some achievements like it suggests, and its just full of fail.

Losing ranks in Halo is normal from what I hear. I haven't heard of achievements being lost though. That sucks. I have had problems with leaderboards not updating properly though.

And really I could care less about achievements and Halo Ranks but, since this is a reoccurring problem I wanna know what Microsoft is gunna do to ratify the situation besides giving a free XBLA game to keep people distracted.

I think at the very least, they should freeze everyone's Live account until it's working much better.

As a company, you'd side with the majority, right? Rather than a free month(since at this rate, it'll have problems well over a month), just freeze everyone's and take down Live.
