They say it was really hard to see the major differences, since each can perform at same/similar speeds, visuals, and sounds.

Case closed! I loved this article and it puts everyone's opinion to shame! I love it!

Nice article. The graphics are pretty close. The sound quality for Blu-ray however surpasses that of standard and HD-DVD. Besides sound however, everything else is practically the same. It just comes down to game preference.

I'm not sure,or perhaps dead wrong but isn't it kinda hard to compare graphics as whole? What I mean is,both the 360 and the PS3 have some game titles in their library that have better graphics than the other games in the very same library. So which game sets the precedent that makes one systems graphics better than the other?

Sometimes, it's up to personal opinion on whether a game has better graphics then another. Other times, it's a dead give-away.

The problem is that devs rarely develop for each system individually. They build it using the specs of one system, and then port it over to another, without taking into account what that system is capable of. For example, when the Iron Man game came out, it was put on the 360, PS2, PS3, and PC. Guess which port the PC got, even though it's often more powerful then all 3 of those systems.

What I'm saying is that it's going to be a tie if you compare a game that was released for both systems unless the devs specifically say they improved something in the PS3 version as compared to the 360 version.

PS2?

Yes! Peanut-butter please.

Anyways. I see what you're saying. It's sad to see that happen. I'd rather games come out later for more powerful systems, like PS2 first, then work on graphics for the 360/PS3, then work on them for the PC.

Same scenario for poor Resident Evil 4. "Hey let's port the half-butt-graphic edition, not the COOL GameCube one!" SURE THING! It makes money right??
