3845: The Last Stand

Aurora clenched onto her M16 machine gun with rage. How could parasites just affect and kill so easily? She had seen parasites when she was only a little girl. They didn't kill that fast. "Trooper-123, we need you in Master Chief Petty Officer Twaine's office." A Marine said, as he was running to his office. Aurora loaded her gun and ran out. "Look out!" Marines yelled, following with gunshot. Aurora leapt over the puny Marines, shooting parasites with speed and force. She rolled as she made landing. She caught her breath decided to run and gun. As she inched closer, there were less parasites. She rolled into his office with grace and shut off the door.
Griffin, in his armor, waved and made a signal to come to his desk. Aurora silently panted under her helmet. The space command base was big enough for city! "Where is "Chief" Twaine?" Aurora whispered. Griff whispered back, "I'm thinking he's still in shock." Suddenly, screams came from Marines that were right next to the desk. Blood splattered all over the walls and floor. No doubt about it, he was another zombie.

Like a Manga!!! ^_^
Except manga's a comic book and people just put them on the internet because they're not worth buying!

But the zombie was instantly killed by Griffin, unable to look anywhere but down to the ground. Aurora sighed and made a two-finger movement towards the door. She pressed her fingers onto a scan and the door opened to a room full of new weapons and high-tech weapons. "Grab the weapons soldiers......we're leaving the station." Everyone except Griffin and Aurora gasped. This was their home for years. But now....they had no choice. They had to live to finish a war.
"Hurry people!!" Aurora barked. They scrambled to their feet and grabbed the weapons quickly and quietly. She walked and opened the door to the rest of the base. "Get ready to fight soldiers." She said, loading her sniper rifle. She stared into the scope and searched. She nodded to Griffin and he nodded back. "It's safe. Let's go." Griffin spoke. They ran silently together in a "pod."
Aurora stopped them when they reached the escape pods. There was only 4 left. "Everyone move to pods 1,2, and 4." The soldiers stopped. "What about pod 3?"They asked. Griffin grinned. "It's programmed to take the person to the most dangerous place of war. The alien's homeplanet." The soldiers murmured and ran into their escape pods. "Wait." Aurora whispered. She ran to the gas pipes and placed a grenade there. "Aurora!!"He shrilled. He pulled her into Pod 3 and quickly drove it out of the base. It exploded, placing major damage to the pod. It spun, losing control. Griffin cursed at Aurora but she didn't care. She was going to destroy the aliens who created the dreaded parasite. And she was going to do it with help. And she was going to do it with revenge.

I think you should start putting these in more chapter sized updates, it helps the story flow better and it gives you practice for cutting off story points.

Chapter 3

The pod crashed and cackled as it hit ground. Soldiers jumped out of the pod and scrambled to their feet. "Where are we?" Said a confused soldier. "We're on the Yamirou's home planet." Said a hushed grim voice. It was the "legendary" John Anderson. "Admiral John Anderson, sir!" The soldiers saluted but John lowered his hands in a motion that meant to stop. "This is no time for anything formal.
John was considered legendary due to the fact he had lived through the bloodiest battle in history of the world which happened 3839. John was 42, with a military cut and a clean young face. ( :lol I'm so sorry but I just had to do this. :lol) "We need to group up the remaining soldiers and move on out to the headquarters of this planet. May take days...even weeks but this is something we have to do." Soldier's jaws dropped. All 30 of them stared at John with fear. Going to their headquarters....that was suicide! John lite his cigarette and began to smoke. He grabbed a gun from inside the pod. "Let's go."

John ducked. Only hours later did they get ambushed. The tall grass covered him. He crawled on his stomach and dodged the bullets of alien weapons. He grabbed a grenade from his belt and clicked on the button on the top. He had only a few seconds before it'd expode. He threw to the crowd of aliens heading in his direction. They exploded and the ground shook. He had nausea and his dizziness overtook him. He felt as if he was going to pass out. He reached into his pocket and grabbed a bottle of medicine pills. He took 2 pills and swallowed them quickly. His sickness was draining quickly and he was feeling better enough to stand up. He looked up and towards where the aliens had came from. They were gone and or dead. He then looked behind him. There was only a few soldiers left that were alive. John sighed and looked away. He silently prayedfor the dead soldiers and looked ahead to the alien headquarters in the distance. He threw over his shoulder a two-fingered signal. The remaining soldiers nodded for approval and moved to the headquarters.
The purple and maroon grass of the alien terrain began to grow taller with each step the group took. "What the hell is up with this grass?" John exclaimed. A soldier spoke up. "This grass is modified to grow to human steps." John looked to the soldier who spoke up. His name was David Bourken, an Air Force Master Sergeant with a admirable history. He was considered a genius by many of his coworkers. John smiled to himself, knowing he could always rely on David's intelligence. John replied, "Should we move out of here and go to the trees?" David looked to the tree and back here. He thought for a moment and said, "It's better if we stay here and we have to cut down the grass as we go along." David took out the pocket knife in his vest pocket and cut the fragile grass. John had the rest of the squad move behind David as he cut down the growing grass.
Moments later, they reached the headquarters. With no hesitation, John looked to his squad and checked for their loaded weapons, armor on tight, and all medical supplies in their reach of their backpacks. John grabbed 6 headsets and applied them to all of their helmets. "Use that to keep in contact." He said quietly. He grabbed the assault rifle and lite his cigarette. He smirked and kicked down the door to the rest of the alien headquarters...

Stories still going really good, GM. But may I suggest that you read through this paragraph and alter a bit of punctuation. There's a few too many Full Stops through here which makes the story move a single rate, which (unforutnatly) leads to a slight bordom from the constant pace. Try using some comma's, or lengthening sentances if possible to make the story continue to flow perfectly and add to the sound. :D

I'm guessing I should post my stories when I'm awake and full of ideas. :lol Good to see a comment though. :)

lol. Well, I like to read and write, and your story is going really awsome. Figured I should help you make it as best as possible. :)

The headquarters was just ahead. Everything they had gone through was about to get worse. David shivered and looked ahead at the headquarters and looked away. John lit himsef another cigarette and sighed. "Do we have a plan or are we going to barge in and get killed?" John muttered to himself with no thought of motivation. David cleared his throat and began," If you all remember the tactial planning assessments we learned in our military classes (now a required course to take for A.R.M members.), we have to plan a diversity of up to 8 people that'll hold them off to get to our main mission. John and I will get the control center and switch off the alien power source." The soldiers muttered anxiously. "When was that the mission?" David chuckled. "We told you when we were walking....were you guys paying attention?" (Guess not.....neither were you, mr. or mrs. reader! :lol) David shook his head in disbelief and continued the plan.
"The rest of you guys will take a corner of the alien headquarters and will throw a grenade into the middle where they are all "huddled" up in. That'll get their attention. While they try to attack, throw a flash grenade and enter when they are blinded. That shoud give me and John enough time to escpe into the control room. When all the aliens are dead, you guys will get into the control room where me and John are. You'll get into the control room and protect us while we shut everything down. When that happens, grab your flashlights and escape. Have your guns loaded in case some aliens will come after us....ok?"
The soldier's mouths gaped open. They nodded slightly with disbelief of how dangerous this mission could end up. They got inside the headquarters and gasped.

Chapter 4

Aurora glanced over her shoulder and peered into the scope of her sniper rifle. She cursed and glanced ahead at the weary Griff. He massaged his sore shoulder and didn't meet her gaze. She sighed and looked again in the scope. "Two of them." She said. Griff looked up in confusion, "2 what?" He mumbled tiredly. "Human corpses. They're here. I thought they took the other route..." She trailed on but Griff shrugged and stand up. His legs had a aching pain but he wore it off by shaking it slightly and regained control. He closed his eyes and listened to only the sounds of the environment. Trees swaying, water gushing down, wind through the leaves....it felt like Earth to him...and his childhood. He spent his early years outside with his father before the alien massacre.
"Griff!" Aurora's voice brought him out of memory lane. Griff grumbled a nearly ununderstandable "What?" irritably. "We have a lead on the others. They obviously headed to the headquarters for this planet." Griff looked away with sudden regret of not paying attention earlier. He could've been ready.
Aurora leapt down the hill they were on and rolled to a stop. Griff followed, doing the same and got on his feet with pain. He winced as the sharp pain flowed through his foot. It moved up slightly to the ankle and stopped its tracks and began its "requiem of pain." His foot, not being able to support him from the blinding pain, fell, grasping his foot. He yelled, startling Aurora. She looked at him then peered to where he was holding. His armored shoe was pouring out blood. She covered her mouth with shock and nausea. Griff threw up and began to grow dizzy.
Aurora looked around for anything to help his foot. Only the headquarters was there. Griff cried out again. Aurora kneeled to him and rubbed his back, whispering, "Its going to be ok....its going to be ok." Griff looked at Aurora, eyes filled with tears, and said, "Why is everything so diffcult? Why should we suffer for what the aliens did? Why-" He fell and coughed blood. Aurora's eyes bulged from horror. "No...no no no no no." She felt his pulse. Flat. She checked his bio signs on her armor face plate team options. Flat lined. She looked at her hands. Blood covered. She began to shake, hoping to wake up from this nightmare. Her hands covered her head, hoping these thoughts would stop. She then fell asleep. A raindrop fell on her cheek, making it seem as if she was crying. It began to rain.
