Nintendo revealed that the company will ship 4 million units of Wii in the first six week of the launch in US, marking it one of the largest launch shipment in US. Nintendo explained that the demand is higher than the quantity and Wii will be sold out in many places.

I know..how early do you think a person going to best buy should get up? :) It's weird that it's being launched on a sunday.
 
Best Buy opens at 11am on a Sunday I think, so I'd say, be there around 730am tops lol Best Buy is the WORST place when new systems arrive

It's the worst place period!!

When the fanatics get their Revolutions, and all is sold out, I will still be playing my Cube. Then when new supplies arrive and the line is less rabbid, I will buy my own.

Last year, when 360 first came out, remember the story in the news about the teens who bought the 360..took it outside to the parking lot and smashed it with a sledge hammer? That's the kind of publicity that Best Buy attracts for godsakes
 
Yea, it was a waste. They could have given that money to some homeless people who would have loved to buy something useful with it.
 
4 million seems like A LOT - it shouldnt be that hard to get one at launch

It's 4 million within the first six weeks. You also got to take into account the hype around the system and it's affordability. So I can gaurantee you it will be difficult. Especially since Gamestop and other retailers sold out their pre-orders in minutes.

People payed them to do that. They did it last year too. It's something that everyone just wants to see.

Besides, the Wii that they'll buy probably won't even break.
