A low graphics video games news site?

Hello there!

I was wondering if any of you folks knew of a video games news site that is up to date and has few pictures and junk.

I ask this because I live in a rural area, and have a 56k connection with actual speeds of 26 to 28k due to underground line conditions.

The non-VG news site I like to visit is http://news.bbc.co.uk/text_only.stm. It loads real quick for me.

Any advice? Thanks!

I have a friend who writes there. I'd relay you to my site, but we don't focus on news. We focus on a review/preview/editorial environment that doesn't feature ads or mucho imagery.. well, hell, here that is too.

The former will land you a lot of news, while the latter is more focused on content, which GAF does not have much of beyond the news.
 
Either way, this is Nintendo. And they did put words like Zelda and Samus into the English language. Last time I checked no one was regretting those entries. I think that nobody will regret the entrance of Wii.

From one of those sites. I thought that was funny because Zelda was a common old lady name, wasn't it?

Zelda is a name, yes, but I do not believe that names (IE: Proper Nouns) are subject to the term in which they're used...
