Do you want more posts around here or not? Some people post quite often in the game specific sections, and even if some of the things they say are controversial, it is still getting the posts going over there, and it will attract people who will respond (such as yourself), as long as it does not turn into a mini war..I would think the overall benefit would be there of achieving the end results that Blue is looking for.

How true. Unfortunately with the internet, it manages to remove one's maturity level because there is no face-to-face verbal contact.

Drama queens don't belong here. They belong on Myspace bulletins. Having a bunch of cry-babies isn't gonna help the site. As long as people make interesting comments about the topic at hand, the site will fluorish.

What you fail to realize is that your interests /=/ everyone else's. If I want to talk about the National Socialists, I will. Anyone who wants to join in in the GENERAL DISCUSSION sure as well can. If you don't like it? Don't get in so I don't have to tell you to get the hell out (of the thread).

When you begin restricting the kinds of conversations that can be had here it is poor form. You begin losing members who may have otherwise come across the forum, saw the breadth of content (rather than just "omfg poll do u like this" on each board) and decided to make a response, leading him to spend more time here.

It's business. Clearly you have no concept of it.
 
I am in agreement with Sartori on this one. To participate in a topic-specific forum, one must realize that derailments will happen. And to participate in any forum with multiple peoples from different backgrounds, different age groups, and different nationalities, we must realize that there will be disagreements. So tp paticipate successfully, we all must understand that minority opinions as well as majority opinions must be respected equally. And if one cannot agree with one another, we have to cowboy up and be civil about it.

And for God's sake, quit with the name calling already!!

Ah. We have someone here who understands how conversations and diplomacy work. Not everyone's the same. Not everyone gets a trophy. Let's just sit back, talk, and enjoy.

Yep. And unless I'm incorrect in my recollection, that person in question would be you. Formulate response rather than cookie cut? I like cookies, but I don't ever use cookie cutters when I bake them.
