No offense, but that would kinda suck. Captain Kirk fighting Darth Vader? Kirk would easily deafeat Vader by boring him with horrible acting.

I do writing. The good thing about is that YOU get to control how everything happens. Or you can just let it flow from your head as it goes, (best type it up on a computer so you can keep up with your head). Is rather easy to do. Grasp your imagination and harness a idea. Then simply put it all into a stroyline, novel or short story.

"Creativity is posibly one of humanities greatest tools."

It works for me, but try even acting it out with stuff to get a real perspective of what you want to happen.

An extra tip. Write about something your interested in. Otherwise you'll lose the plot and probably never finish writing it.
 
When I try to write, I always have some kind of thing in society I'm trying to flesh out in my story. It always works pretty well for me, of course most of my stories are well written, but pretty boring allegories so I don't know how much you should trust me.
 
Try to make your stories unique and something someone else hasn't done already. My writing is always strange and different. I try to combine Stephen King and Doom and incorporate them into my own mixture of futuristic science fiction. It's very fun making your own story where you decide what all happens. I love making characters for stories, very fun.

Back on topic - Write about what you know, your own experience, but wrap it up in fantasy. That's what most authors do. For example, take a memory of a trip to the zoo and turn it into a story about strange creatures from another time or place using your own thoughts and feelings that you remember from that trip. Take something familiar and transform it into something new.
 
Whoa......sci-fi.......i hate star trek so if i made a star trek story....the death star would already blow up everything.(lol :lol)

Sorry, GaimingMaiden. But it seems you need to put more thought into it. Hey! If you want some help withgetting it all going, I will assist you. I've already writeen two novels, and maybe do another. And I'm sure there are many others on the site who've wirtten something at least of a short story in their life. Ask around for some ideas, take 'em as they come. And generate them into something. You have a imagination in there. But it seems you need to work harder and really grasp it! YOU CAN DO IT!

finally grasped an idea......it sorta starts out as spiderman (geeky peter.) but soon.....Toby(lol....i was watching spiderman 1 and 2 while writing this....) but its not too bad. my computer si broken so i cant update it (i'm on my moms laptop.)
