Monday I am going to either EB games or gamestop to buy a few games (Im spending around 300 dollars 50 of it is going towards a 12 month xbox live subscription because Im running out of my free 1 month trial.) and im getting bioshock and halo 3 so those are ruled out, but I am wondering if you know of any good games that are out for any console. When answering my question consider replay value and overall gameplay.

As to the topic...what kind of games do you like playing? I like Gears of War for replay value, at least if you're wanting to play online. It took over the number 1 spot on Xbox live from Halo 2 so you'll always find people playing.
Another good choice would be Oblivion. That game will suck your life away. I honestly have over 100 hours and am still not even close to being done. You can 100% customize every single aspect of your character...from his race to his primary skills, his secondary skills...and everything in between! There's many different groups that you can belong to (Fighters Guild, Arena Fighter, Mages Guild, Theives Guild, etc) and tons of missions for each one. You can either follow the main story or go and do as you please.

Thanks for the info stubes. IK might check out oblivion (is shivering isles the expansion?) I have gears, and I was thinking about getting madden 08 if it is any good. I saw your pic of bioshock and madden, how is madden?
Notta problem. Yeah, Oblivion was voted "most addicting game"...it's pretty crazy. :lol Oh and yeah, Shivering Isles is the expansion...I believe you can download it on Xbox live for $30 or so.
Madden is great this year. It's alot harder so I'd only recommend it if you've played football and are very knowledgable about the game. I love it because you actually have to plan your plays and put strategies to use in every play. For example, if you run the same play twice in a row, or three times in a row, there's probably about an 80% chance or so that it'll be picked off. Each team has a number of dynamic players so to speak, and have access to some pretty unique abilities. Some players even have multiple abilities, but if they're not used correctly, they're useless. There's also ways to counter each ability (Big Hitter counters Power Back, Shut Down Corner stops Spectacular Catcher, etc). Also, there's nothing more satisfying than hit sticking a receiver in mid-air!

Yeah I played the demo also, and so far my favorite plasmid is incinerate. I love lighting splicers on fire with the flick of my wrist. I cant wait for all the other plasmids. I got the gamestop collectors edition which is ten dollars more. It is worth it though, it comes with a large big daddy action figure, which i'm going to sit next to my halo 3 helmet (I have the legendary on reserve) on the shelf. Those little sisters freak me out. *shudders*

Yeah, and then there's a gun in the carriage? That was pretty creepy. It adds to the atmosphere, definitely.
