AHH WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?!?!?

I have not had that exact problem, but for some reason my perfectly fine FF8 disc1 will not play through the opening movie. I even had it buffed and it still won't work. Keep looking though, I'm sure it's around somewhere!
 
This happens to me all the time. I have absolutely no main place to put my PC games so it isn't uncommon for me to lose not only the first disc, but the entire dam jewel case. They always turn up though (excluding Civ 4 :'(), and I'm sure your disc will turn up too.
 
I had this problem with Tales of Symphonia...especially since the Cube uses such small discs. I was missing the first disc. :'(
 
I hear ya. I once lost My Star Ocean 2 disc for a few months. One fateful day while looking for Alundra, I found it weded between two cases that I had somehow missed.
 
Of all the FF for the PS1 I enjoyed FFIX the most. I don't know why it was my favorite, but it was.

Man... I loved Alundra 2. I could never get my hands on the first one. Star Ocean 2 is a favorite too.

I keep all my RPGs right behind me here at my desk. I keep them together. I only lost one disc of FFVII one time. Turned out it was still in the PS1. Searched everywhere for it. ::)
