Am I crazy...?

I'm not wanting Halo 3 at all. I hate Halo 2 just for the fact it's gotten really, really old. (game play wise) And I feel Halo3 shall be exactly the same just with new weapons, and gadgets to have people call you a noob with. I'm tired of hackers, modders, and a-holes on Halo 2 on xbox live.

Yes, other games have it, but not nearly as bad. Halo 3, if anything like Halo 2, shall be once again another boring sequel just like the first. Maybe this is the gears of war in me talking....because ever since I picked that game up no other game mattered to me. For x-mas last year I got GoW, Splinter Cell:DA (which i wanted since the summer), and a freaking Wii, and other games here and there. I played Gears, and I think my Splinter Cell is still in the plastic...not lying. Halo 3 shall be just as boring as Halo 2 in my eyes. No one completely rape me here because this is my opinion.

I may rent Halo 3 from gamefly eventually but there are much better games I can hope for ex. Army Of Two...which it's gameplay completely destroys Halo's gameplay. Tenchu z [whether you like it or not] is a really fun game. I'd play it over Halo 3. Also metroid for the Wii is so much fun!!!!!

Well, many people feel this way so you might as well may not be crazy but you should be able to at least give Halo 3 a chance before you bash it when it comes out. :)

Saved films.

None of those were in Halo 2. None of those things are just "new weapons".

You can bash Halo because its what the cool kids do, or you can play what is hands down the best game in the best series ever.

Erm, I didn't mean the new weapons were the only improvement...and online co-op you say...NEVER saw that one in Halo 2. Best game in the best series ever? Well I loved Halo 2 then it got repetitive and annoying. And I'm not in the crowd of everyone likes it so i don't. Shut up don't say what you think I am. I loved halo 2 me and my friends played it non-stop. Ask kissmeImhxcemo me and him used to play all the time. I'm saying after two games and basically the same story line..it's boring. By same story line...fighting the cov. then the flood. Yippe...omg but in halo2 they had humans join the aleins AND you could play one! yes, and again I liked halo 2 now it's boring.

P.S. Not bashing, predicting. I'm predicting what I think will happen. If it's good fantastic i'll rent it if not oh well. idc
 
You think the storyline was the same in both? Have you even played them? I agree with Spartan though. I think hating on Halo 3 is just a chance to go against the grain for a lot of people. For some reason, people believe Halo 3 is going to be a prettier version of Halo 2...forgive them lord, for they know not what they do. :lol

Seriously now, we're arguing over a game that doesn't come out for another 10 days...wow.
 
It's perfectly ok to have your own opinion and discuss it. But please make sure that the discussion stays civil. If I see any kind of flaming or overt bashing going on, the topic is locked. Everyone likes to argue around here lately and it's getting annoying. A lot of people need to respect that other people have opinions that may be different from their own, and that it doesn't mean that they are stupid or that their opinion is any less valid. It's just different.

That being said, I hope you will try out Halo 3 though. To me, it looks like they listened to the complaints from Halo 2 and fixed all of them. The story from what I've seen seems WAY better. I really can't wait to play Halo 3. I'm starting to think it might have a chance at GOTY, even.

How come I get fussed at when I say PS3 sucks, yet he claims Halo 3 to be the best game in the best series ever?
 
Because there's a difference between bashing and praising.

I think DBP can dislike it. That's fine. There's just 5 million out there that would disagree...and that's a fact. :lol

Seriously it's fine though. I didn't like MP 3 or Zelda and was receiving a crap load of flack for that.

It's like I said, Halo is the holy grail. The Godfather of video games. According to a lot of people, there will never be anything wrong with the series and every game will be perfect, even days before anyone has even played it!

Seriously though, don't jump all over the guy just because he doesn't think it's going to be the greatest game ever. Be sensible and accept opinions for once, people.
 
People seem to forget about the beta. The beta was a taste of the full game, and even lacking all of those features it was still loved by many.

The beta was a build of the game that came out 4 months before the game did. It was online only, and didn't include all maps or anything. That's really not something you wanna judge the whole game on.

Plus, many people were pretty disappointed with it, mostly because they don't get what the word "beta build" means.

Alot of people may have been disappointed with it...but there were far more people that were impressed...hence the 5 million preorders.

In his opinion, Halo 2 is boring, and Gears of War is fun...Does that help?

True, and like I said before, most people who were dsiappointed with it just didn't understand that it was a beta build of the game.
 
Halo 3 sinks or swims?

Hello again boys and girls, here we are with another this one is about halo, yes I said it and the subject is correct> I mysel am thinking halo is way to overrated there's to much hype behind it and all it has is the hardcore fan players, thats about it to me if you would take away the multiplayer the game would die, plus as far as getting goty, it's not going to happen there are to many better games out there besides that, i mean I tried the beta of cod4 and was like forget halo the action was more intense being able to call air strikes or air support having perks at your ready so that you could drop a bomb when you die or take one last dying shot at the person who killed you seemed much better. Yes I know there are new weapons and vechiles in halo 3, but thats it. It's still the same old formula but it has shiner graphics if you really look at the game you know they could have done a better job with it so in that Im holding of for halo wars. thats all i got to say bye :P
