Oh shoot, i know who Socks the Cat is since 1992. Heck, Checkers the Dog (Nixon's dog) still goes down in history
 
Checkers....such a cute dog. (They have pictures of these pets in our U.S History textbooks so thats kinda why I know who these animals are.)

What about Garfield, Felix, Heatcliff, Tom (Tom and Jerry), Samurai Pizza Cats, Meowth, Haggar's Cat (Voltron) or Sylvester (Looney Tunes)?

Supposedly the Cheshire Cat is the most famous cat in the world. Don't ask me how I know this. :lol
