Any "Health Nuts" In The House?

Nope, diet pop is equally as bad, it just doesn't contain sugar.

Diet pop can be bad in different ways.

Though it doesn't spike blood sugar (which can lead to Type 2 Diabetes) and contains fewer calories, there have been arguements that artificial sweeteners are harmful and can lead to cancers in very large quantities. They also still contain artificial colors, acids that corrode teeth, and won't hydrate you as well as water or sports drinks because of the dissolved chemicals.

My sister in law is. She's a vegan and a marathon runner, which is like a super health nut.

A marathon runner?
I pity the purse snatcher that tries to take her purse! :lol

I've cut down to 2-3 cans of pop a day and am drinking almost 2 litres of water every day.
Does anyone know roughly, how long it takes for me to notice positive effects of the water consumption with the decrease in pop drinking?I weigh 202lbs,and for the last few years drank only pop and milk, seriously.

2-3 of regular pop? If so, that's still a bit much. You gotta figure each can has roughly 150-170 calories of absolutely no nutritional value. If you drink 3 that's almost 500 empty calories not to mention tons of sugar. Try to shoot for 1 a day at most and then you'll start to notice positive effects {granted you also have a good diet}. But, good job with wanting to change. That's a first step that way too many people don't ever take. So congrats on that :)
