Anyone Hungover? Post Your Home Remedy

When I'm out to really party, I'm definitely a fan of the jag-bombs. Otherwise jagermeister just tastes like cough syrup. I'll still drink it, but I wouldn't reccomend drinking it straight if you can get some sort of mix.

Drink More and smoke. Tis what I do.

You, sir, truly are the king of kings. I don't smoke, partly because I'm not cool enough, but also because its too expensive, unhealthy, and gross. Although I do enjoy cigars (real ones, not the packs you can buy at 7-11), but even then only on special occasions and in a well ventilated area. Otherwise the smoke gets in your hair and on your clothes, and when you wake up the next morning your room smells like a campfire.

I've personally never have vomited from drinking. The trick also is to know your limits and pace yourself.

You haven't lived until you've passed out on a bathroom floor in someone else's house using towels as blankets and pillows. :lol

That's a true, story by the way.

Most people know their limits when they're sober, the problem arises once you've already had a few drinks and hit your limit, because at that point you feel so good all you can think about is how drinking more will make you feel even better. Of course, the opposite ends up being true. The trick is to set out guidelines for yourself to begin with, and have friends around you who also know what your limit is. Nobody wants anyone to drink too much and get sick, or nobody should, so having other people around who can cut you off when you need it is helpful.

My biggest suggestion to Zi and Starry is to experiment with alcohol in a safe environment. If you're in a safe place, someone's house or a restaurant or whatever, and you're with more friends than strangers, then just take it slow and have fun. People drink alcoholic beverages because they taste good (eventually) and are fun, drinking just enhances doing things that are otherwise fun (hanging out with friends, parties, meals, and so forth, not driving, sports, and whatnot). So long as you're with people you trust then drinking, even getting drunk (though not overly) is a helluva good time. And don't worry too much about drinking until you throw up, generally everyone does it at least once or twice to find their limits. So long as you learn from your mistakes you'll be fine. Its people who binge drink every weekend (or every day) until they throw up that really get themselves in trouble.

A few drinks on the weekend with some friends can be a great thing. A beer or glass of wine with supper, or after work, is also quite sublime. But, like anything, indulging in it excessively will cost you.

I've had an experience like this except it was a kitchen floor and was without the help of any outside substance. Everything else in your post though, I agree with.

well i thought i had made myself clear with every single post XD, I WILL NOT DRINK, sure i really don't mind if all my family and friends do i mean it doesn't really affect me (is not like smoking where it does hurt me) and as i have said before i really think is hilarious to see some people getting drunk, but i just won't drink anything with alcohol in it unless it is completely necessary for health purposes or something of the sort (or mouthwash) and if i get sick by just smelling that stuff i don't even want to know what would happen if i drink it.

This is at my own party. I ended up pulling the shower curtain down and using it as a blanket/pillow... that's the night I downed 3/4's of a fifth of Jager along with a few beerskies and some shots of 99 Banannas.

Personally, getting that wasted doesn't really offer much fun for me, especially the morning after. Not to mention, I like to remember what happened during the night. The last thing I want is to be a babysitter and/or have someone babysit me. Also, I'm pretty fortunate in that I can still retain myself even when really drunk and know when to stop, so I can cut myself off.

Otherwise, I agree with all of your other points, especially jager-bombs. :drool

Sometimes I miss drinking, but alcohol simply does not agree with my body anymore. Just a couple weeks ago I had a few shots and a couple beers at a friends, and for the next 2 days I had insane heartburn! Beer alone is usually ok, but anything hard just gives me heartburn. I have also done some really bad and dumb things when drunk in the past.

Hi x2!

Chances are your heartburn was a result of mixing 2 or more different kinds of hooch, but I'm no doctor. :lol

Booze not agreeing with your body is a mixed blessing.I used to get ticked off when I got sick when I wanted to get drunk, which is hard to do.Your body is telling you to back off.One advantage in your situation is:you'll save money,no more hangovers. The biggest thing is that even if you have a few without getting wasted,it's still extremely hard on your liver. :hh

a good remedy that my parents do is they try to wake up a little early at like you know 8 or 9

and drink some coffee

then take a nap in the day
