I can't vote yet, but if I did I wouldn't vote for Kerry. But I probably wouldn't vote for Bush either. Any other candidates?

i am, pretty much a straight ticket democrat. usually at least unless i really disagree with certain views the guy has

I am voting for Bush.

I don't like Kerry. Bush has had a hard presidency... yeah... he did a couple things wrong... but, Kerry.....
:-\
No.....

As a lesbian, I cannot in good conscience vote for someone *coughBushcough* who wants to amend the constitution to make marriage only between a male and a female. That's pretty much what it boils down to for me.

well....

I do not want to bring offense to anyone here..... but IMO if someone does not have religion why would they care about marriage?
The who reason for marriage is an institution by God.

I had a tennis coach that was living with a woman...... and when a few of the other tennis players asked why they weren't married (they lived together for 15+ years).... his answer was "we don't have religion, so why should we get married."

beyond that.... I have to say I agree with Bush on the issue. I don't want to divide anyone here..... etc... but I do agree with Bush on that topic.

you have to look at it more than just marriage. being in that kind of union also offers benefits in other areas that marriage allows.

What?  the tax penalty for married people ? :lol

beyond that.... lets change back to the original topic before this gets out of hand :D

I don't think you should have to be religious to get married, not at all. I think that should of course only apply if the wedding's in a church.

yeah..... like I said, this discussion isn't going anywhere really.

who else is going to vote for Bush?

look at insurance foo. it's not just a tax penalty ~_~

well..... all I have to say is that insurance was a lot more affordable single than married.
A LOT more affordable. Insurance alone breaks the bank for me.

There should never be discussions about religion or politics on message boards. It's just asking for trouble. :p So I'm going to post in other threads now that I have said my piece. 8)

point taken. just saying, there are benefits to it financially o_-
still though, just don't care too much for bush :-\
