Just wondering if any of you still go to arcades...I haven't really been in a while. Stop in wal-Mart every now and then to play a couple of games...race games or shooters. Played this lame bear hunter game the other day...man how many times u gotta shoot a bear b4 he kills over. Not 4 or 5 I can tell u that.

I haven't gone in a long time, the only one I really know of is in a mall here, and I haven't went there in a long time, so Ihaven't really gotten around to it.

This belongs in the general discussion forum. I go to the arcade a lot. SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos is my favorite game. After that, I play Rage of the Dragons, Magician Lord, Metal Slug 3, Samurai Shodown 4, and Ninja Masters. Over at the other arcade I use to go to I would play Samurai Shodown 5, Metal Slug 4, and Strikers 1945 Plus.

I also play Ninja Assault, Beast Busters on the Hyper 64, and occasionally I will beat Soul Calibur II just so everyone can go ahhhhh...

Oh, and I also play Metal Slug 5 at the student center from time to time.

You might consider not doing that. It gets a bit confusing after awhile. It disjoints the forums.

Posted it here to try and increase PS posts..since BV is so bent on the idea that GC forum will outdo this one. LOL

the metal stug games are good, but i've never been to an arcade that sported them.
i wait for my college to finish up the student center in the fall so the arcade comes back. all the people there are really scrubby and domination is in the pocket ;p

Whenever I go bowling, I can't NOT play a game of Time Crisis 3. That game's got such a good atmosphere, and I love ducking behind an object, switching to a shotgun, getting up and blasting numerous enemies to high heaven. ;D

My local arcade though hasn't got many recent games, so I mainly go on the original House of the Dead machine to see how far I can get.

There are a few arcades around where I live.

Boomer's is cool because they also have go-karts, bumper boats, 3 mini-golf courses, and batting cages along with two arcade areas. The Family Fun Center part is better because it has more games, though. My friends and I go there to play House of the Dead 1 & 2, the Ultracade, and air hockey. Boomer's also has this great deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays where you pay just $10 and get unlimited games. We play House of the Dead 2 all the way through, usually more than once. :D

James' Games is another arcade that's pretty cool. They are more for the hardcore gamers than Boomer's is. They have like Japanese imports of DDR and all those Beatmania games and stuff. They also have pool tables that you pay for by the hour, which is cool. My favorite game there is Arkanoid, while my friend really likes Super Puzzle Fighter. James' Games is cool because it stays open a lot later, too.

See, my arcade is a really old fashioned one that mostly has slot machines. :(

I have to travel quite far for the good arcades.

I'm too lazy to go to the arcade, besides I live in Calafornia and there PACKED with viets and some other asians but mostly viets. I never really got into the arcade gaming so I just do the stuff at home instead.

I remember when me and my dad used to go to the mall on Saturdays and spent like 2 hrs in the arcade room playing games! Most of the time I played for free since my dad knew the guy that ran the arcade room, plus they talked all the time about some crap. *didn't care about that, just kept playing games*

I remember playing that Micheal Jackson game in the arcade too! :lol It was hilarous and fun to play!

every now and then I do :)

we have a good arcade at our local Putt Putt... I think 75+ arcade games!

†B†V† :hat

They have an arcade at one movie theatre we go to. A couple times we were there with my one friend's brother who would beat the Star Wars arcade game without missing once. He made the top 10 score every time, it was amazingly cool to watch and would always draw a crowd.

I went Thursday to a local fun center. It had an arcade. I live in the sticks so they had some older games. I played the arcade version of Tekken Tag Tourny and HATED it. I couldn't do anything. I got very frustrated after 2 games and called it a day. Played a lil Cruisin USA and a few kiddy pounce the glowing buttons with my 3yo, make the frogs climb to the top. "And the loser is Drunkin Eddy" funny stuff. They had a pinball machine...but it was gettign late so we wanted to get in a round of mini-golf...we had a blast! Think I'll be visiting the arcades alot more often. Forgot how much fun they can be.

Arcades just dont seem to be fun.........i mean, a lot of the old-school games or even some newer ones can be played for free on the internet

But most are illegal.

I go to the arcade whenever I get a chance for DDR... meh loves showing off. :woot

For some reason, whenever we are guaranteed to go to the arcade, something happens. Like recently, the last time they did an unlimited gaming day, we lost our free coupons. :(

actually, most of them arent, and the only ones you cant play are the ones like DDR where you have to be there......i mean, go to a place like addictinggames.com and you will see a bunch of older arcade games, like Tetris and Q-Bert and all of those.......
