The Google searches say a Sega console in 2010, lets all call it Dreamcast 2.
Personally, I don't see why it shouldn't be a Xbox 360 with a BD-ROM built in and low-end DirectX 10 chip. The obsoleteness can make it affordable. People like to watch movies. Dreamcast didn't have a DVD-ROM, one of the marketing disadvantages. #2 was Dreamcast didn't have Madden or FIFA or MLB or Need for Speed or Black.

The intelligence has not failed, the Wii HD is going to have a 3.2 GHz Tri-core Broadway so knowing this, it'll be just like Wii HD. Remember, ArtX & MIPS went to Sega first for N64 hardware and they were actually going with a CD-ROM at the time! So much for brilliance on that would be grand slam.
Then again Dreamcast 2 can be a handheld.
