are there more people with the PSP?

no problem :) I am just surprised that more people with PSPs don't write.... unless there aren't a lot of people playing or watching the PSP anymore... or right now.

which reminds me i just scored a white PSP my g/f's mom found it in a park I never heard of it so i looked it up and it was a japan release only so it doesnt play region 1 UMD's but it still plays all the games since theres no region coding on them

didn't you try to return it?

man... the PSP must not have a lot of support... or you all just don't post up anymore.

My brother-in-law found his PSP in a garage can, and brought it over once. I was amazed at the graphics and whatnot, but the controls were really goofy. And for the price, I can't justify a handheld with a limited library ( of mostly games that are already on the PS2), and an awkward control layout.

its library is getting better though and i like how some games like madden and raw VS. smackdown let you swap seasons between the 2 consoles

I checked that thing of downloading PS1 games to the PSP..that was just one writer's hopes. I read that article, forgot the writer's name, but he just wished that would happen. There were some rumors going around the internet, but there not real, sadly. :'(

dude it was in OPM

Which issue was it, I remember reading the article by Jeremy Parish...That was just a prediction. If you're talking about a newer issue than I wouldn't know.  The last issue I got was with the cover story of FFXII(issue 107, August.)

Issue 105, June '06. PS1...To Go? by Jeremy Parish.

Looking at it right now.....

The article talks about how Sony says that there will be certain PS1 titles moved to the PSP at some time. They will be downloadable.

-Excerpt-
I can't imagine that Sony will make loading PS1 games onto your memory stick as simple as ripping and transferring music files....But either way, you can be certain that we'll be paying for our PS1 privileges...and that only select titles will be available.-Jeremy Parish
-Excerpt end-

So, there will be certain titles from the PS1 on your PSP. The question is which ones and how will you be able to download them? Maybe they will use the UMD format? But can all of Final Fantasy VII fit on a UMD disc? I would think not. Of course there would be 2 or 3 discs for a game this big-but at what price would you pay for that? Would you want some of your fav. games from the PS1 on the PSP; even if that meant having to play for an extra 30 minutes just to find a save spot? I'm not saying it wouldn't be a godd idea, I'm just sayng I'm going to leave my PS1 games, on my PS1.

But yeah, I was wrong :'(

I don't have a PSP, and i don't know much about them. I did check out some of the games though and here is what sounded cool to me.

Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins
Gradius Collection
Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel
Race Driver 2006
WipEout Pure
LocoRoco

I guess there are not many on PSP which really wow me. Maybe im just out of the loop.

I'm hopefully gonna get a psp soon and i'm thinking about Madden and Live 07, Socom , and MGS... the psp's library is getting bigger and bigger.

Well it looks now that we will be able to download our PSOne games to the PSP from our PS3 and hopefully our PSP directly thanks to recently released PSP Update 3.00 and 3.01.

Guess I was uninformed about the PSP. There were so many good games at the store I had trouble decideing which to buy. Here is what I have:

Gradius Collection
Killzone
Metal Gear Portable Ops
Metal Gear Acid
Metal Gear Acid 2 (Im a metal gear fan )
Sega Genesis Collection
Valkyrie Profile.
